First-Generation Office
About
The First-Generation Office empowers Dartmouth's first-generation undergraduates to thrive in academics, foster a strong sense of belonging, and launch their professional journeys.
Happy Fall Term at the FGO!
We are delighted to provide you with opportunities, ranging from fun social events to professional development programming with our Prepare to Launch division. We remain open 24/7, with your ID now required for access between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM. (Don't lock yourself out by leaving your card in the FGO!)
First-Year Summer Enrichment Program
Through mentorship, sample classes taught by Dartmouth faculty members, workshops, seminars, and community-building activities, FYSEP students learn the mechanics of a successful Dartmouth experience while forging a strong peer network.
A synthesis of traditional career development tools with Designing Your Life (DYL) methodology, the Prepare to Launch (P2L) program provides students with the resources and techniques to achieve an expansive career and life planning roadmap.
The King Scholars Program sponsors qualified first-generation, low-income international students interested in alleviating poverty in their respective home countries.
